When I make a traybake, I ALWAYS use this 34x20cm Brownie Tin from Masterclass. It is AMAZING, really the best investment I have ever made! Such good quality and it´s just the perfect size!!!

We have got some absolute classics, as well as some special twists that will wow your friends and family! So without further ado, let´s just get straight into it!

Mary Berry´s Lemon Drizzle Cake

5 Amazing Traybakes for Bake Sales, Parties & Co. - TheUniCook (4)

This is the most popular recipe on my blog – and for good reason! Mary Berry´s Lemon Drizzle Cake is the fluffiest, lemoniest, and yummiest traybake you will ever make! Lemon drizzle cake is a British classic and an absolute crowd-pleaser! Everybody will love it! A light and fluffy lemon sponge, that is topped with a mix or lemon juice and granulated sugar when still warm. This means that the lovely sugary syrup seeps into the cake and leaves a crunchy sugar topping as it cools! PER-FECT!

If, like me, you cannot get enough of lemon cake, then why not try out some of my recipes for a Lemon Yoghurt Cake, Poppy Seed and Lemon Bundt Cake, Lemon Meringue Pie, No-Bake Lemon Cheesecake with a Ginger Nut Base, “Lighter” Lemon and Quark Cheesecake or Mini Lemon Fairy Cakes.

Best-Ever Carrot Cake Traybake

5 Amazing Traybakes for Bake Sales, Parties & Co. - TheUniCook (5)

This Carrot Cake Traybake is one of my family´s absolute favourites! The cake has a lovely and sweet texture as it is made with mashed bananas! Walnuts are added for an extra crunch, and the whole thing is finished off with the most amazing cream cheese frosting! I could literally eat an entire bowl of that on its own!

I also have a different carrot cake recipe on my blog, which is extra moist and extra spicy. Plus, the cream cheese frosting on top is made with some grated orange zest for that added je-ne-sais-quoi! Instead of baking the cake as two individual round sponges, you could just bake it as one in the 34x20cm brownie tin to turn it into a traybake! Check out the recipe for my Extra Spicy Carrot Cake Recipe here.

The basic brownie batter I use is seriously the BEST brownie batter EVER. It makes the most amazing brownies, and is extremely versatile! You can literally add whatever fillings you like! My classic go-to Brownies are made with Pecan Nuts, but I also have a Raspberry and White Chocolate Brownie Recipe and an Easter Egg Chocolate Brownie Recipe!

You could also divide the batter into two portions and make two different types of brownies at the same time! Check out the video here to see how!

Biscoff and Apple Traybake

5 Amazing Traybakes for Bake Sales, Parties & Co. - TheUniCook (9)

This is an amazing traybake – light and moist with grated apples, Biscoff spread goodness and some crunch coming from Biscoff biscuits and apple chunks!

This Biscoff and Apple Traybake will make you the favourite at the next family get-together or bake sale! I promise you´ll love it!

German Donauwellen Traybake

5 Amazing Traybakes for Bake Sales, Parties & Co. - TheUniCook (10)

Donauwelle, meaning “wave of the River Danube” in German, is a classic German traybake recipe. A marbled chocolate and vanilla sponge, topped with cherries and a layer of German buttercream. The whole thing is finished off with a thin coating of chocolate, decorated with a wavy pattern to resemble a river… This is a hit at any German “Kaffee and Kuchen” (coffee and cake) event, so if you want to try something new, I´d definitely recommend giving this a try!

Those are my Top 5 Traybakes for Bake Sales, Get-Togethers and just general afternoon treats! Hope you enjoy, and let me know if you give any of them a try!
