Abu Dhabi Airport Reviews

★★★☆☆

The airport makes the impression to be a bit overloaded and compared to Dubai for example not very luxury.

- Guido Eikelmann

★☆☆☆☆

Usual shambles in transit through this facility. After clearing security in chaotic scenes, went to lounge only to be later asked to queue outside the lounge to re-enter the lounge to await boarding. Luckily there was a 3 hour gap between flights, any less would have meant missing the onward flight.

- Howard Williams

★☆☆☆☆

Shambles, had 90 minute connection for onward flight to Australia. It would have been impossible due to chaotic security and incompetent staff. Problem solved by onward flight adding a further4 hours delay.

- Howard Williams

★☆☆☆☆

Under construction so everything is really old and there is no food unless you are like me and go to the lounge to eat. Airport is trash overall though.

- Reza Nezammafi

★★★★☆

Not enough time to spend at the airport, but it seems to be small for the number of flights that Etihad has there...

- Pablo

★★☆☆☆

This airport is operating at about 130% capacity - crowded and poor design means there are bottle necks in all the wrong places. Security hall for transiting passengers is particularly poorly designed and managed. 3 out of 4 flights used remote gates - a sure sign the airport just is not up to scratch capacity wise. EY lounges are small with only a few toilets. SIN Airport still the far better transit hub. But even DXB are much better than Abu Dhabi

- Dennis Bunnik

★★★★★

Be ware that the security process can be slow moving. I had 1:15 connection and it was very tight, especially if you're arriving into Terminal 1 and going to Terminal 3

- Michael Dart

★★★★☆

Abu Dhabi Airport is pretty nice actually. I was at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. Everything is pretty clean but there could be more Toilets. Terminal 3 especially downstairs was pretty crowded due to the rushhour. I think it's a convenient airport for transferring from Europe to Asia/Australia. Busrides are often pretty long at AUH when going on a Long-Haul. WiFi is free and pretty fast. Check in and security was fast. There are some stores at T3 but only in the beginning. When going to the gates you'll pass by some smaller shops but not many

- Jeremy de Vries

★★★☆☆

The airport itself was very good. The only thing I didn't like is that after getting off from the plane we needed to take the bus.

- Dóra Punk

★★★★☆

Above average terminal 3 , limited food options in departure area , toilets crowed need more of them , free public shower available near gate 35 . since the upgrade is in progress you will required to take bus to reach the aircraft which can be inconvenience for some . Good thing is free strollers available for babies . prayer room and smoking areas also available.
