Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Quest Steps - ProGameTalk (3)

The rebel Hive Ghost, Fynch, knows where the Hive temple is and it might hold useful information that can help against Savathun. While trust is still an issue here, Fynch still has agreed to help you infiltrate it.

After speaking to Fynch, there will be a new mission called “The Ghosts” available for you to complete.

Step 2: Speak with Ikora in the Enclave on Mars

After finding Sagira’s shell during “The Ghosts” mission, an echo of Savathun’s voice was heard speaking about the “Witness” who appears to have some bigger role in the plot. Ikora will be waiting for you to discuss what you have found out.

You will need to head over to Ikora on Mars to speak with her.

You will need to head to Europa and complete “The Communion” mission which is now available.

Step 4: Speak with Ikora in the Enclave on Mars

After visiting the Pyramid on Europa and strengthening your connection with the Darkness, you will need to speak with Ikora. She needs to speak with you about Sagira’s shell.

You will once again need to go to Ikora on Mars to speak with her.

Step 5: Complete “The Mirror” Mission

Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Quest Steps - ProGameTalk (5)

A group called The Hidden has identified that there is an area located in Savathun’s Throne World which may provide you with access to a memory tied to Sagira’s shell. You have been sent to Ikora to follow up on this information and to investigate the area.

A mission called “The Mirror” will be available which you must now complete.

Step 6: Speak with Fynch in the Throne World

The memory that you have seen shows that Savathun had been disguised as Osiris. This may have tricked Ikora into revealing information about the Light. Fynch wishes to speak with you about an important lead before you speak with Ikora.

Make your way to Fynch in the Throne World and speak to him.

Step 7: Complete “The Lightblade” Strike

Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Quest Steps - ProGameTalk (6)

Fynch thinks that there is an important artifact hidden in Savathun’s temple to Oryx. Once again he wishes to help you reach the temple and discover what lies within, regardless of the dangers Ikora believes it may impose.

This will unlock “The Lightblade” strike which you may start in the Throne World.

Step 8: Return to the Altar of Reflection in Witch’s Echo, Throne World

After obtaining a piece of Oryx’s Tablets of Ruin, thanks to Fynch, you will need to bring the tablet to the Altar of Reflection. This may allow you to witness another memory of Savathun. You will need to make your way to the altar again and use the Tablet there.

Now you need to go to the Altar of Reflection and view the memory using the Tablet.

Step 9: Speak with Ikora in the Enclave on Mars

You have now witnessed two of Savathun’s memories, each of them revealing her sinister plans. One of these plans includes her plot to steal the Traveler from the sky. You will need to return to Ikora and report your findings before it’s too late.

You will need to head back to Mars and speak with Ikora again.

A new mission “The Cunning” will be unlocked on the Throne World that you must complete.

Step 11: Return to the Altar of Reflection in Witch’s Echo, Throne World

You have successfully recovered a new artifact thanks to the help of Fynch. A Worm Familiar appears to be a link to one of her later memories. This may be the key to discovering who Savathun was before her current state.

Make your way towards the Altar of Reflection again to reveal another memory.

Step 12: Speak with Ikora in the Enclave on Mars

Strangely, you were unable to access the Altar of Reflection and now need to head over to get your next move from Ikora. You will need to bring the Worm Familiar back with you and discuss the situation with Ikora for a new plan.

You will need to go back to Mars and discuss things with Ikora once again.

Step 13: Complete “The Last Chance” Mission

Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Quest Steps - ProGameTalk (8)

There will be a new mission available on the Throne World called “The Last Chance”.

Step 14: Return to the Altar of Reflection in Witch’s Echo, Throne World

After obtaining a piece of crystal prison which held Savathun before she obtained the Light, you will need to head to the Altar of Reflection. It is here that you will be able to open up and view a memory that can provide clarity on what has happened.

It is time for you to head back to the Altar of Reflection hoping to access it to view a memory once more.

Step 15: Meet with the Vanguard in Zavala’s office in the Tower

It was revealed in the previous memory that the Traveler had chosen Savathun. This is similar to how the Traveler would choose any Guardian. The Vanguard needs to hear about this shocking news as things are beginning to become more twisted.

You will need to travel to the Tower and head over to Zavala’s office to speak with the Vanguard.

Step 16: Speak with Ikora in the Tower

Zavala has let Ikora step up to follow through with her plan. You will need to speak with Ikora, who now has a theory that may prevent Savathun from stealing the Traveler. She will need your help before things go out of hand.

Ikora will be waiting for you in the Tower, head over to her to discuss your next move.

Step 17: Speak with Ikora on Mars

It is believed by Ikora that the memory within the Worm Familiar may be the key to stopping Savathun. To reveal that she and her siblings were tricked, you will have to show the memory to her. There is a ritual going on where she is stealing the Traveler and you will need to make haste.

A new mission called “The Ritual” will now be available on the Throne World.

Step 18: Complete “The Ritual” Mission

Destiny 2 The Witch Queen Quest Steps - ProGameTalk (9)

Ikora has unlocked a memory that ties to Savathun’s worm familiar. It was discovered that the proto-Hive were tricked by the Witness. The information she has figured out may just be the key to stopping Savathun from her plot.

Ikora has now moved back to Mars and will be waiting to speak with you again.

Step 19: Speak with Ikora in the Tower

Savathun has finally been defeated but her Throne World is now full of the Hive and Scorn fighting for dominance. The Witness is still at large and plans to make things much worse for everyone. Ikora will now want to speak with you on upcoming plans to prepare for the worst to come.

You will need to once again head over to Mars and discuss things with Ikora.

The Witch Queen Quest Rewards

Aside from the loot and experience you obtain during the missions within the campaign, finishing Quest Step 19 will reward you with a new Exotic Quest.

The “Of Queens and Worms” Exotic Quest will be available and upon accepting it, you will have ended The Witch Queen quest.

VerdictDestiny 2 The Witch Queen Quest Steps - ProGameTalk (10)

You were finally able to uncover the memories of Savathun but apparently, she wanted this from the start, except for one final memory.

Although she had almost stolen the Traveler and completely sealed it away for good, you were able to stop her from finishing her task.

With Savathun out of the picture, the Vanguard will now need to focus on bigger problems, which involve the still existing Throne World as well as the Witness.
