How To Complete The Treasure Hunt In Disney Dreamlight Valley (2024)

After unlocking the Glade of Trust and reaching a Friendship of Level 8 with Scrooge McDuck in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will receive access to a Friendship Quest called "The Treasure Hunt." To get started, you must find and speak with the miser about the gold coin Ursula gifted him. Scrooge McDuck believes that the coin is connected to a larger treasure hidden somewhere in the Village.

After Scrooge McDuck's initial conversation in "The Treasure Hunt," he hands the gold coin over. Next, open the inventory screen and inspect the item to view a Memory of a Long-Lost Treasure. This Memory will depict a photo of three locations: the Glade of Trust, Merlin's study, and Dazzle Beach. Accordingly, you must head to each biome shown in the photo.

Starting in the Glade of Trust, head to the northern portion of the area. If you open the map, you will see a small pond on the top left of the biome. Dig up the sparkling node directly above this pond to find the first clue to progress "The Treasure Hunt" quest. Youtube channel GosuNoob suggests you should enter Merlin's home in the Peaceful Meadow and pick up the piece of paper in front of his desk's right leg. This slip of paper marks the second clue in "The Treasure Hunt" Friendship Quest.

Finally, head east to Dazzle Beach. Enter the biome via the trail to the east of the Peaceful Meadow. Next, investigate the sandy area near the cliff wall on the left to find the third clue buried in a sparkling node.

This mound of sand sits near the wall that borders the pathway leading north to the Forest of Valor.
