Westminster Dog Show: Golden retriever wins Sporting Group (2024)

Daniel, a golden retriever, wins the Sporting Group during the 144th Annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020. Karen Mammano of Webster handled Daniel, whose formal name is GCHP CH Hillock's Jack Daniel'S RA JH CA RATN CGC. They were going on to compete for the top prize, Best in Show. Daniel won that prize at another show June 23, 2019, at the Tonawanda Valley Kennel Club show at the Dome in Henrietta.
