Good basic recipe here but next time I'll use bone-in chops which we feel has more flavor.

I added 1 Tsp of Mustard Powder and they were delicious. No BBQ sauce needed. On high, grill 2 min rotate 90 degrees, cook 2 min, flip & cook 2 min, rotate 90 degrees and cook 2 min. Turn down to low and cook until 145 degree. I personally like to take off the grill about 140-142 degrees and let them rest as they will continue to cook while resting.

There's a good chance I over-cooked the chops. They seemed dry to me. But my friends really enjoyed them. Great rub!

Just made this tonight.. . Good rub but I may have used too liberally. Will try again but a bit gentler with the rub. Great flavor and my husband loved it. We didn't use the BBQ sauce but may try in the future.

Fantastic recipe! As others mentioned, I skipped the barbecue sauce at the end, because the chops really didn't need it - the rub is very flavorful and seasoned the meat perfectly on its own. Definitely a keeper!

I just made this recipe with stake and we loved it. Planing to use it with chicken wings on Friday.

I skipped the bbq sauce, and just did the rub on one side. It tasted like bbq sauce without being saucy, and without worrying about burning. I'm gonna try this rub on chicken too since it was so good.

Loved it! Super easy and delicious! I didn't have onion powder, but it still tasted just great! Easy meal to make for the midweek… will definitely make again!

Instead of BBQ, I splashed a dash of Liquid Smoke to each chop. I think this would be great on steak or chicken, too! YUM! Will make again!

I love the rub! I grill these and don't bother with the sauce. They are perfect. I adust the time depending on the thickness of the chops.

We keep coming back to this recipe again and again with outstanding results and are so fond of the rub that we're going to make it in a large batch so that it's always on hand.

WOW!! This was so easy how could it possibly be good? Well it was great. The meat was moist and had a little zip. Not to spicy but yet had a bit of zing. I followed the recipe as originally written and used cookies original bbq sauce. This is definitely a keeper.

Excellent. Great balance of spices in the rub. My chops were a little thick and needed extra cooking time, but turned out juicy and perfect. I definitely will make this again.

This rub is so quick and easy to make, plus, it is delicious! I doubled recipe so I would have some on hand for another quick grill night. I have to admit I ate two chops - one with BBQ and one without. They were both great, but the BBQ sauce gave it an extra pop.

Really good and such a quick and easy meal. I used smoked paprika and added a bit of cayenne for more of a kick. I also brined it for an hour before rubbing it and letting it sit. My pork chops were thick though and I ended up finishing them off in the oven after I got some gorgeous grill marks. I'd definitely make again, it was so quick and easy. Served with rice pilaf and a veggie medley.

Great recipe, but it is better to use sea salt, not table salt in the rub, & a small smear of peanut oil seals it all & prevents sticking to the grill

I did not care for this recipe at all...way too smoke flavored for me. However, my boyfriend absolutely loved it, so I think it's just a matter of personal preference. I would say if you like smoke flavor this recipe is for you!

My granddaddy would say, "Now that's fittin'!" Easy to do, would be appropriate for special occasions or everyday meals. Served steamed broccoli and cut corn with it-very plain meal, but the meat showed out. Will repeat.

I make this all the time. I love it for a quick pork chop meal that is full of flavor. I make up large batches of the spice rub for my spice rack. My husband thinks I should give the spice mix for Christmas presents.

The rub smelled a lot like Lawry's seasoning salt as I was putting it on. Tasted fairly similar, too, just a little bit more bite because of the chili powder. I didn't find it too spicy and even my toddler ate it. I used pork tenderloins rather than chops, other than that followed the recipe. My husband raved! We'll make it again.

Pretty much followed the recipe as given. Did not have onion powder so I used dried minced onion instead. We grilled the chops and it was delicious. Do use a good bbq sauce - makes a difference. Made extra rub for the next time. Will definitely put this in the rotation. Quick and easy.

We had these for dinner a few nights ago - they are outstanding and we'll surely have this several times again this summer. We followed the recipe exactly this first time but think we will substitute smoked paprika the next time we try it.

I thought these were good, and they are SO easy. I did also have a little bit more rub than I needed, and I found them to be a little bit spicy. It was good for us, but it might have been a little spicy for some people. I agree with the other reviewers - using a high quality BBQ sauce is important (we use Annie's Smoky Maple BBQ Sauce - my favorite!)! We will make it again.

We loved this dish. Rich and flavorful, without being over the top, this is a quick and simple recipe that's frankly hard to mess up. We did reduce each 1 tsp ingredient to 3/4 tsp, and reduced the 1/2 tsp salt to 1/4 tsp and had plenty of rub for the four pork chops. A great, healthy way to cook pork chops!
